Christoffersen letter
Holland, Sally (I1397)

1409 telecon Ruth Denman--visited Kent often. Lem's wife Frances was Kent's first cousin, may have received the bulk of his estate. Allen, Lem (I3812)

1410 That Enoch is Jacob's father is speculation based on gift of land to Jacob from Enoch in 1771 "for natural love and
affection"; 90 ac on Rocky River in then Orange County; also:
Carol Galbreath gives Enoch and Jesse as brothers and sons of Thomas Pugh; Thomas arrived in North Carolina in 1756; Enoch and
Jesse were accepted in Cane Creek Friends in 1760. Enoch was disowned by Friends in 1766 for marrying "out of unity",
establishing his marriage date. Jacob was born about 1767, from Gary ONeal notes. In 1771 Enoch gave the land to his
two sons, and I've found no further record of Enoch. In 1778 a "widow Pugh" is mentioned on Rocky River, and in the
1790 census there is a Rachel Pugh head of household listed in Randolph County.
The Charles Pugh reunion sheet gives dob 1735

The Rouths of Randolph County give dob 1745
Pugh, Enoch (I1687)

1411 That Rachel is Enoch's husband and they are parents of Jacob is speculation; see Enoch Pugh notes Rachel (I1688)

1412 The cited book and manuscript give dob 4 Aug 1912 and dod Dec 1984. I have replaced them with the dates from Findagrave.com, which includes a grave marker photograph (which gives years only). Felder, John Lawson (I3381)

1413 The FGR source shown says Jacob was the brother of Elizabeth who was killed by Solomon Barrow. Flavia Fleischman in Old River Country says it was Philip. Winfree, Jacob (I3571)

1414 The Master Spirit of Old Cumberland (early Carothers, scraps) gives name and
mentions activities in State of Franklin.
Looney, David (I1448)

1415 The Master Spirit of Old Cumberland. Was uncle with whom Robert Looney
Carothers lived as teenager.
Looney, Robert (I1449)

1416 The only record found of this Miriam Kokernot is the interment record at the Jewish Congregation Gates of Mercy. It seems certain that she is a child of Louis and Nancy since they were the only Kokernot members. Kokernot, Miriam (I3194)

1417 There is a William Burgess family in 1880 census Goliad County adjacent to Cicero Williams. Daughter Susan is eight years old, born Mississippi.

They're still there in 1900 census, ED49, p125A, JP2, residence 42. William is a widower, son Joseph J living there single; daughter Lottie E, 35, single; daughter Lannie S, b. April 1872, single, must be Susie. Still next door to Routillion (Cicero) Williams.
Burgess, Susie (I272)

1418 This is certainly the Blanche Johnson who wrote the letter to B H Barnes (the Wickes St address is correct) so she is a descendant of Julia Kokernot, but that she is the same Blanche as daughter of Gussie Lang is speculative, based on her given name and age. Halderman, Blanche (I3063)

1419 this name simply appears in notes from Anna Mary in Trein file; under Joseph Conrad; may be spurious?
[MBeenerDesc.FTW]

Calvary Memorial Cemetary
Lung trouble listed as cause of death.
Conrad, Josephine (I1897)

1420 This relationship is a little speculative, based on the list of Julia Lang children in the B H Barnes papers naming "Gussie Haldaman" and the appearance of "Gus Haldaman" next door to Sarah Lang Cox in the 1880 census of Wilson County, Texas. I couldn't find this family in later censuses in Texas. Lang, Mary Rebecca Augusta (I3057)

1421 Thomas Kendall family assumed parents of Leon D. Kendall (not proven) because they were both in Gonzales County Texas in 1870. Also agrees with Cynthia Barber gedcom on World Family Tree. Kendall, Thomas F. (I3754)

Was in Refugio County, 1934 for birth of Ethel Mae
Littlefield, Samuel Guy (I3245)

1431 Was James Lang married to Mary Lang before Julia? In the 1850 census there is a James Lang, age 20, born Tennessee with Mary Lang, age 17, born Louisiana:

http://content.ancestry.com/iexec/?htx=View&r=an&dbid=8054&iid=TXM432_911-0075&fn=Mary&ln=Lang&st=d&ssrc=&pid=1579329
